If a new member joins a church, has less than 3 friends at church, there is an 80% chance they will leave within a year. If they have 6-7 or more friends in church, there is an 80% chance that they will be there a long time.
So let’s do all we can to make friends of new members and old members and young members too.
New members need 4 Fs.
Faith – they must have belief and the Bible
Function – they should have a purpose within the church
Friends – they need to be part of the church family
Fellowship – they need to be able to interact with other members.
